The Derrick Payne School of Golf has been cultivating instructional programs at Killian Greens since 2004. Founder Derrick Payne began is teaching career in 1998 back in his home state of Maryland. In 2012, Derrick was awarded a high honor by US Kids Golf for his work with children when he was named honorable mention Top 50 kids teacher in the world. In the 2012 calendar year alone, DPSOG students won over 25 junior tournaments and were proud participants in the US Kids World Championship in Pinehurst, NC..

Our children's instruction curriculum is made up of individual classes, group instruction, and school break day/weekly camps. Over the past 3 years, our tournament training program has evolved to include both fitness and mental game aspects. The DPSOG may be known throughout south Florida for our work with children as young as 3, but we don't stop there! Derrick has developed a concise blueprint to improved golf by coaching both children and adults of all ability levels. Students can expect to get a comprehensive understanding of the golf swing no matter their age. Whether you are a true beginner or an aspiring Senior Tour member, you can rest assured your game will be greatly improved through one of Derrick's programs.
